Every day women disguised as masterful superheroes, that's what we are!
“ An everyday woman most of the time, and a dynamic superhero on occasion. The women I surround myself with are Wonder Women every day of their lives.”
Wow! Wonder Woman! Seeing this picture brings back a flood of memories. The original Wonder Woman was played by Lynda Carter. She was tall, lean and armed with a truth extracting lasso and bullet deflecting bangles. She was your average everyday woman one minute, but all it took was for her to dip out of sight for a few minutes and do that famous twirl and she was transformed into a true superhero.
Back then; this was how I saw Wonder Woman’s character. An everyday woman most of the time, and a dynamic superhero on occasion. When I look around at the women I know today, I see the exact opposite. The women I surround myself with are Wonder Women every day of their lives. They work all day (outside the home or in), take care of their children and their husbands. The educators I know, spend all day teaching their “schoolhouse babies” and then go home and teach their God given babies. They cook, clean, pay bills, fight traffic, run errands, and still make time to love on their girlfriends. How on Earth do they do it? By not relying on things of this Earth.
The Wonder Women in my life rely on the Heavenly Father, the God Almighty, the Omnipotent One! They are – no, we are Wonder Women because he is a wonderful God!
